Slaapwel Event CC Hasselt - september 1st 2012

Excellent gig last night together with Machinefabriek and Greg Haines at the CCH in Hasselt. Very motivating crowd and they all fell asleep during the show. In fact, some of the visitors stayed in bed untill 9 am this morning! Greg had put his last pianonotes in a continuous loop that kept buzzing around during the night. Got some nice positive feedback from people and press. Thanks to Laurent and the CCH-crew and Waldo from Jazztronaut for the great organisation

Starry Starry Night

On january 14th of this year, Dave of Lowlight Mixes fame, posted a mix called Starry Starry Night on his blog, featuring two Sonmi451 tracks, Alpha Centauri from last years' Star Atlas an Blue from Spectrum, released by U-Cover in 2010. If your looking for some nice ambient mixes, Lowlight Mixes is the way to go.

Four Peaks: a new Sonmi451 album

San Fransisco based Time Released Sound just released a new Sonmi451 album called Four Peaks. The TRS website describes the new album as follows: "This third release in the “chocolate box” series comes in an edition of just 80 uniquely hand made copies. Each heavy duty hinge lidded chocolate box comes collaged with antique mountaineering prints, and contains an attached sectional container filled with gravel, twigs, moss and wild mountain flowers, a two sided hand worked insert on Moab 300gsm fine art paper, two hand stamped mini discs and other goodies. As with the other boxes in this series, all come with felted bottoms as well.…and as with the other releases in this series, this will also be available at some point on a standard 5″ replicated disc in picture sleeve." Star Atlas sold out

In less than a month, Star Atlas sold out. That is good news...except for those who didn't get a physical copy. Well, I guess it won't be long before downloads start appearing somewhere on the internet.
